Hungry Harvest's Produce in a  SNAP Market

Each Wednesday at the YMCA's Teaching Kitchen, more than a thousand pounds of produce is delivered to be sold to the community members for very little cost.  The Market accepts all forms of payment, including food stamps, which allows anyone shop at this market.  Besides supervising the weekly event, I also recruit volunteers, communicating issues with Hungry Harvest, and reporting all details.

Floyd Livestock & County Fair

For 2016-17, I worked as the Exhibit Committee Chairperson for the Floyd County fair.  This service event to our community allowed all armatures to show of their skills in everything from baking and canning, to gardening and horticulture, to photography and quilting.
