Currently I have been working with The Jacksonville Center for the Arts in Floyd VA. I started in the summer of 2012 as the Director of Educational Programming and since then have now taken on Gallery Exhibitions as well. I feel very lucky to be involved with the center. It is such a unique and wonderful place.

I was heavily involved with the art community to increase the understanding of community member about the value of art. Art touches all parts of our lives, we may not realize it though. I worked with the local art community to be an advocate for the arts and continue to offer the best for my community.

I am part of many arts organizations. My longest membership is with ArtBerkeley, Inc. I have served as Secretary for almost four years and have helped this group of artists in many ways. This group will always have a special place in my heart.
I am also part of the Potomac River Artists Guild and serve as the promotions chair. Other groups I have been involved with around the region include the Valley Art Association and The Jefferson County Art and Humanities Alliance.
